Can I reach someone if there are any questions?

Yes, if you have any questions or problems during your stay, you can contact us by email or, in very urgent cases, by phone.

In acute emergencies such as fire or life-threatening situations, use the emergency number 112.

What equipment does the holiday home have?

We strive to offer you a very good comfort. The holiday home has the following equipment:

Fridge/freezer, electric cooker, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, hair dryer, electric boiler, water filter.
Of course, the house has a modern bathroom with shower and toilet.

Are there neighbors?

Yes, on one side there is another property with an old house that is not occupied but is being developed by the owners, a nice retired couple.

How far is it to the next bathing spot?

There is a small lake about 2 km away. Google Maps. In Växjö (approx. 28 km) you will find a large seaside resort - Evedal. Google Maps.

But there are also many bathing spots at the numerous lakes.

Do we have to strip the beds or clean the holiday home?

No, we do that for you and it is included in the price.

May I use the fireplace?

Yes, the fireplace can be used and makes the time in the house even cozier.

Is there a charging station for electric cars?

You can charge your electric car at public charging stations in Lenhovda (10 km) chargefinder.com/en or Växjö (28 km) chargefinder.com/en.

There are no charging station at the house.

Is there WiFi in the house?

The house does not have its own internet connection. However, you have a good 4G connection and in Sweden you can use your phone and surf without further roaming charges, just like in your EU home country. If in doubt, please check with your provider.

Is there a TV in the house?

There is no TV in the house. Feel free to use your holiday here to enjoy the beauty of nature and to be in the here and now.

Are pets allowed?

The house is to remain accessible for allergy sufferers, so unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Can I barbecue at the house?

Yes, there is a small barbecue area behind the house. However, be sure to observe the current forest fire warning level and the usual fire protection measures.

Am I allowed to smoke in the house?

No, smoking is not allowed in the house or on the property.

May I use the historic kitchen oven?

The operation and firing of the kitchen oven is very complicated and can lead to heavy smoke if used improperly. We therefore ask you not to use the oven.
A modern electric cooker is available for cooking.

Do I have to bring bed linen and towels?

We provide the bed linen, towels and tea towels. So, you don't to worry about the bed linen and towels.

Can the house be heated?

Yes, the house has a modern air heat pump and underfloor heating in the entrance and bathroom area.

Is there hot water?

Yes, the house has a 55 liter electric boiler. There is hot water in the bathroom and kitchen.

Is there a fridge?

Yes, there is a fridge-freezer.

Is there a terrace or outdoor area at the house?

Behind the house is a terrace with a glass pavilion, so you can enjoy nature on the available seating set. When it rains or in the evening, you can sit in the glazed and illuminated pavilion.
There is also a small seating area in front of the house where you can enjoy the evening sun.

Is it allowed to collect berries in the forest?

There is a lot of forest around the house where you can pick blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms. Otherwise, "Allemansrätten" applies in Sweden: the "everyone's right", which allows everyone to enjoy public nature and use the fruits, provided that neither nature nor other people are harmed, disturbed or disadvantaged in any other way.

Does a road go past the house?

Yes, but it is a side road with little traffic about 30 m away.
